Welcome

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Students

It is a pleasure and an honor to recognize and welcome you as Islanders at this wonderful and unique university. The Division of Student Affairs takes great pride in providing services, programs, activities, and leadership opportunities to enhance your college experience. We strive to assure we are meeting your needs for intellectual and personal development beyond the classroom. We realize the many demands on your life, the struggles you endure, and we rejoice at your successes.

We are especially proud of being a Hispanic-Serving Institution located in South Texas and serving our region. This campus has a very diverse ethnic population. There are international students, students from out-of-state, from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, various religious affiliations, and a wide range of ages. All are learning and discovering who they are. We celebrate this diversity and encourage different points of view.

The main reason you are attending this institution is to pursue a degree. The Division of Student Affairs is here to assist you and to provide the support you may need. Please know that you may call on us if you need assistance or do not know whom to call. Our staff is dedicated to supporting your academic quest and personal growth.

I wish you the best in your scholastic endeavors. May all your experiences at Texas A&M- Corpus Christi help you achieve your ultimate goal.
